@badala: The beaches here are really shallow, and the sand is nearly white, so they give off a nice greenish-blue hue. I had to wait for a little wave to crash to get the white stripe.
Nice abstract! I know that feeling of being at the beach while raining, specially when one have to sit inside a camping car and wait...

@Titus: A rain soaked window is just a nice, free filter. Except that it doesn't so much filter light or color as much as it just totally destroys definition.

Saw your link for this entry on Stephanie's rain entry. I'm glad I followed it. This is a beautiful picture. I love the colors and the texture, yes, but its the 'feel' of the picture that gets me. Lovely.

@Dornbrau: Thank you for the nice words. Rain on glass is very versatile, and this shot felt like watercolors on a canvas. (The background colors are sand, a crashing wave, and still water)
