This is a shot of from the rocky beach shore about 20 minutes drive from my house around the other side of the island. I'm trying to start to decrease the content of my photos with dark areas using levels and curves.

Okay listen, Dude: 1. You're WAY too lucky living in a place that has these marvellous lakes and sunsets which makes you a lucky person, and 2. it's your fault that my eyes got sucked into the screen by such a stunning view. Now, figure out if you want to post another image like this again....

This isn't actually a lake - It's the ocean. I live on an island, and there are tons of little inlets, so the mountains you see on the other side are the result of the island curving back around the ocean. But, yes, there are tons of interesting little spots to be found around here.
